About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join our team at Entrust Social Care Ltd. As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for managing a high case load of complex cases, conducting assessments, child protection work, care management, home visits, and court work.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage Complex Cases: Manage a high case load of complex cases, ensuring timely and effective intervention.
  • Conduct Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments to identify needs and develop plans that promote positive outcomes.
  • Implement Child Protection Procedures: Implement child protection procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children.
  • Provide Care Management Services: Provide care management services to individuals and families in need, promoting independence and self-sufficiency.
  • Participate in Court Proceedings: Participate in court proceedings as required, providing expert testimony and supporting the legal process.

Requirements:
  • DipSW or Equivalent: Hold a Diploma in Social Work (DipSW) or equivalent qualification.
  • HCPC Registration: Be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • DBS Check: Hold a current DBS check.
  • Car Driver: Possess a full driving license and have access to a car for work purposes.
Estimated salary: £42,000 - £52,000 per annum.
