Mental Health Helpline Manager

Mental Health Matters is seeking an experienced Mental Health Helpline Manager to lead our crisis support service. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of operational targets, building a high-performing team, and providing regular feedback and support.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of mental health services, and the ability to work with vulnerable individuals. With a salary range of £29,640 - £32,760 per annum, this position offers a competitive remuneration package, including on-call payments.
You will be based in Sunderland, working Monday to Friday in our office, with some weekend shifts and flexible hours required. In return, we offer comprehensive training and induction, 25 days annual leave per annum, plus statutory holidays, and a 5% contributory pension scheme.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Level 3 Certificate in Counselling or equivalent
- Experience in managing a team and working with vulnerable groups
