Band 6 Specialist Weight Management Dietitian

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled dietitian to join our specialist weight management and bariatric team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As a key member of our team, you will work alongside dietitians and nutritionists to provide expert care to patients with weight management needs, both pre- and post-bariatric surgery.
Main Responsibilities
As a specialist dietitian, you will be responsible for:
- Providing timely and accurate nutritional assessments to determine patient needs
- Developing personalized treatment plans, including dietary advice and ACBS products, to support patients with obesity and weight management needs
- Liaising with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, bariatric nurses, endocrinologists, and bariatric surgeons, to ensure comprehensive care
- Communicating effectively with patients, carers, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
- Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and contributing to the development of health promotion activities

We are seeking a dietitian with:
- Essential qualifications and experience in dietetics and weight management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of nutritional assessment and treatment planning
