Senior Service Delivery Coordinator

Job Overview: We are recruiting for a Mechanical Engineering Team Lead to oversee the servicing operations for one of our clients in Chatham, Kent.
About the Job: As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for managing service teams, liaising with customers, and ensuring high-quality standards are maintained in all service activities.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate a team of engineers, scheduling service operations and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the service team, leveraging your mechanical engineering knowledge.
- Ensure all servicing and repairs are carried out to the highest standards and within agreed timeframes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or equipment to customers.
- Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement within the service department.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Manage invoicing and ensure accurate job records are maintained.
Requirements:
- A motivated and proactive leader with a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience managing service operations.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to inspire and lead a team to deliver exceptional results.
- Solid knowledge and experience in mechanical engineering, ideally within the servicing or maintenance sector.
