Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Department Coordinator to join our team at Drummond & Etheridge Limited. As a key member of our Service Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient running of office administration, enabling our technicians to provide high-quality service to our valued customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage parts for servicing, maintaining accurate records to ensure seamless communication with the Service Team.
  • Oversee fleet maintenance cycles, coordinating schedules and deadlines to minimize downtime.
  • Answer phone calls and enquiries, addressing customer queries and concerns in a proactive and professional manner.
  • Communicate effectively with the wider Service Department, ensuring smooth operations and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the service area, fostering a safe working environment for all staff.

In addition to these key responsibilities, you may also have the opportunity to support our Service Coordinators with tasks such as arranging technician schedules and maintaining service bookings. You will be encouraged to suggest and implement strategies for improving workshop efficiency, staying informed about farm machinery advancements, and performing other duties as needed for overall team success.

Requirements:

  • Good mechanical and technical understanding, with a willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Sound computer skills and literacy, with proficiency in software applications relevant to the role.

Benefits:

  • A competitive salary range of NZD $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
