Residential Youth Worker Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.
As a Senior Children's Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for leading by example and supporting the management team to run the shift. You will also take greater responsibility for mentoring and supporting newer staff members, encouraging young people to take responsibility for their own lives, and dealing with challenging behaviors safely and sympathetically. Additionally, you will maintain a safe environment for young people and protect them from risks to their health and welfare.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Responsibilities
- Lead by example and support the management team to run the shift

Requirements
- NVQ or QCF Level 3 / Level 4 in Children and Young People is ESSENTIAL
- 2 years experience in a residential children's home environment is ESSENTIAL
- A full Driving Licence is ESSENTIAL
