Ricardo is seeking a seasoned Key Account Manager to develop and grow relationships with 50 strategic accounts in the chemical industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in consultative sales, managing large customer bases, and identifying business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand relationships with strategic accounts to grow revenue and client satisfaction.
- Implement account management strategies to ensure client satisfaction and efficiency of delivery.
- Engage with clients to identify market trends, regulatory challenges, and competitor activity, and input into business development strategies.
- Manage risks and ensure prompt payment, satisfaction, and long-term retention.
- Liaise with internal teams to advise and provide guidance on account management.
Requirements:
- Broad experience in Key Account Management sales and retention best practice.
- Demonstrable experience in establishing relationships within accounts and leveraging relationships to achieve business objectives.
- Track record of cross-selling different consultative capabilities.
- Experience of over-performance against individual account management development and retention targets.
- Professional, organised, and disciplined individual with a proven track record of managing a large customer base.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience in working within a consultative sales environment.
- Experience in working within a sustainability, risk management, chemical response, regulatory, or safety business area.
- Experience working with a CRM system, especially MS Dynamics.
