About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at The Cambian Group. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Registered Manager in achieving the aims and objectives of our statement of purpose.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager
  • Support and manage staff to enable them to meet the needs of children and young people
  • Undertake direct work with children and young people as appropriate
  • Manage child protection concerns and complaints
  • Work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people

Requirements:

  • Diploma 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Working towards or holds a level 5 Diploma leadership and management residential childcare
  • Current full driving license
  • At least 3 years' experience in Residential children's Care which includes supervisory experience
