We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Deputy Manager to join our complex care service across the Hereford and Worcester region.

About the Role:

As a Deputy Manager, you will assist the manager in achieving the aims and objectives of the statement of purpose. You will deputise in the absence of the registered manager, support and manage staff to enable them to meet the needs of children and young people, and undertake direct work with children and young people as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage child protection concerns and complaints
  • Work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people
  • Offer supervisions and support to senior staff in line with care quality standards and Children's Homes Regulations

Requirements:

  • Diploma 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Working towards or holds a level 5 Diploma leadership and management residential childcare
  • Current full driving license
  • At least 3 years' experience in Residential children's Care which includes supervisory experience
