Principal Systems Reliability Expert

AWE Plc is seeking a highly skilled Principal Systems Reliability Expert to join its Capital Engineering group.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex projects, collaborating with UK and International major Nuclear Designers.

In this role, you will work on a wide range of projects across AWE's portfolio, from initial design through to completion. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that safety systems meet rigorous standards.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £90,000 per annum, based on your level of experience and qualifications.

About the Role
  • You will require a strong background in reliability engineering, including AR&M and safety engineering.
  • You will need to demonstrate a good understanding of reliability concepts and techniques, such as Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and Failure Modes Effects & Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
  • You will be responsible for applying maintainability/maintenance strategies to ensure optimal system performance.
Your Background
  • You must hold a relevant Engineering Degree (minimum HNC/HND) in an Engineering discipline.
  • You should have experience working in the nuclear industry, preferably in a safety engineering role.
