**Job Summary**
A part-time Research Assistant position exists in the Department of Engineering at the University of Cambridge to work on the 'UK-India Virtual Critical Minerals Supply Chain Observatory' project.
**Key Responsibilities and Duties**
- Contribute to the design and development of the Global Virtual Supply Chain Observatory platform, ensuring it meets project requirements and stakeholder needs.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring of activities related to observatory development and deployment.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration with stakeholders, including researchers, industry partners, policymakers, and international collaborators.
- Reporting and documentation
**Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience**
- Undergraduate or Masters degree in Computer Science.
- Experience in digital and virtualisation technologies
- Experience in project management
- Experience in stakeholder engagement
- Knowledge of critical minerals supply chains and their global significance.
- A proven ability to effectively communicate with academic and industrial partners.
- Able to collaborate effectively both with the research group members and with external colleagues
- Research or work experience in global supply chains.
- Highly organised, able to prioritise and work efficiently to agreed objectives and timelines.
- Potential to develop a leading role in projects in the Industrial Resilience Research Group.
**Salary and Benefits**
Research Assistant: £31,396 - £33,966 (27% FTE)
