Job Title: Support Assistant for Visually Impaired Student

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Assistant to work with a visually impaired student in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the student with daily tasks and activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote the student's independence and confidence in learning.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure the student's needs are met.
  • Provide regular feedback to parents and carers on the student's progress and achievements.
  • Contribute to the creation of accessible learning materials and resources.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and training in support work or a related field.
  • Experience working with visually impaired students or individuals with similar needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
