Horizon Teachers is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND Teacher to join our specialist inner-London secondary school. With a focus on supporting students with SLD/Complex Needs, this is an ideal opportunity for a teacher looking to make a lasting impact.
About the RoleWe are seeking a qualified SEND Teacher to work on a full-time, long-term basis from January 2025. This position offers a great opportunity for a teacher seeking a future permanent role within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Teach a range of subjects to students with SLD/Complex Needs in a secondary school setting.
- Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to cater to the diverse needs of our students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective education program.
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. QTS, PGCE) with a specialism in SEND or a related area.
- Proven experience working with students with SLD/Complex Needs.
- An understanding of curriculum development and implementation.
We offer a competitive salary package, commensurate with experience, estimated to be around £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
