Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex special educational needs in Stoke-on-Trent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized 1:1 assistance to students with SEMH SEN needs, ensuring engagement and progress in their learning.
- Develop and adapt lesson plans to suit individual learning styles and needs.
- Support students' social and emotional development alongside their academic progress.
- Create a safe, supportive, and encouraging learning environment.
- Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support.
Essential Requirements:
- Ability to motivate and inspire learners
- A clear vision and understanding of the requirements of pupils with special educational needs
- Ability to work with parents as partners
- Personal resilience
