Quality Director

Helping Hands, a leading home care provider, is seeking a seasoned Quality Director to lead our quality strategy and function. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer care and service.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement a market-leading premium quality strategy and plan
- Lead the development of a 'quality care' culture through strong leadership and quality infrastructure
- Generate internal customer and carer insight to drive service improvements and minimize risk
- Ensure transparent reporting of safeguarding, complaints, and advocate whistleblowing
- Lead a high-performing quality team and provide broader business leadership
- Identify and escalate compliance issues, recommend corrective actions
- Develop and monitor a risk-based audit strategy, ensuring inspection readiness
- Act as the business DPO (Data Protection Officer)
- Ensure the quality strategy supports key commercial business objectives
- Monitor and apply external quality best practice
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Extensive experience in a senior quality role in a care/healthcare setting
- Proven experience leading a quality function in a regulated environment
- Degree level qualification, or equivalent
- In-depth knowledge of quality systems and home care legislation
- Strong project management, analytical, and decision-making skills
- A passion for customer service and continuous improvement
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
