Job Title: Regional Health and Safety Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at Inside Avenue Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on health, safety, and environmental matters across our operations.

About the Role:
  • Provide professional advice and solutions to ensure compliance with legislation and best practices.
  • Develop and implement health and safety best practices to ensure the company complies with current health and safety legislation.
  • Work proactively with all levels of management to establish and maintain a safe system of work and a safe environment for colleagues and clients.
  • Monitor health, safety, environment, and quality performance on contracts and take necessary steps to improve standards.
  • Carry out regular site audits, including weekend and night working, to ensure compliance with CDM sites and relevant documentation.
  • Assist in compiling, reviewing, and revising project SHEQ documentation and welfare setup.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and utility damages, and establish root causes to introduce preventative measures.
  • Ensure all levels of staff have the necessary training in health, safety, quality, and environmental matters.
  • Coordinate with the SHEQ Department in all health, safety, environment, and quality matters.
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH/NCRQ Level 6 (NVQ Level 5 as a minimum standard).
  • EUSR or CSCS in a related subject.
  • NRSWA (SWQR).
  • Working knowledge of HSG47.
  • Power/Fibre/Water/Gas/renewables experience.
  • Proficient in Accident/Incident investigation & RCA.
  • Proficient in data analysis & compiling Reports.
  • Competent in core standard Microsoft Software.
