About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our new Education and Training Service, based within 500m of the Grenfell Tower. As Deputy Head of the Grenfell Education Hub, you will champion personalised support and advocacy for all those impacted by the tragedy.

Working closely with families, schools, and the wider community, your team will enhance learning, training, and employment opportunities. You will drive the strategic direction of the Service, ensuring excellence and compassion in delivery, with a significant focus on trauma-informed care.

Key responsibilities include managing complex cases, supervising your team to embed best practices, and forging partnerships across the Council, Children's Services, education providers, and other local organisations.

We are looking for a qualified teacher with proven experience of working across several different key stages in a variety of settings. You will demonstrate a clear understanding of the educational landscape, from early years to postgraduate, and knowledge of education legislation and safeguarding policies.

The ability to form positive relationships with warmth and empathy will be key to your success in building this co-created, collaborative venture. You should also be resilient, adaptable, and open-minded.
