Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Director to join our team at Vistry North Central Midlands. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders, ensuring the smooth running of the finance department, and contributing to the overall financial performance of the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide financial management and analysis to support business decision-making
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability
  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
  • Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective team performance
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication

Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a proven track record in financial management and analysis
  • Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Desirable

  • Experience in the construction or housebuilding industry
  • Knowledge of VAT, DRC, and CIS
  • Experience with COINS software
