Job Description

The Manufacturing Lead will oversee the assembly process, ensuring efficient production and quality control. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Supervise frontline staff and coordinate tasks to meet production deadlines.">
  • Maintain quality control by inspecting finished products and addressing any defects.">
  • Provide training and development opportunities for employees to improve their skills and performance.">
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.">
  • Implement corrective actions to eliminate problems and improve processes.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

">
  • ">
  • A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.">
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.">
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address issues proactively.">
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing practices and 5S principles.">
  • Experience working with door products manufacturing/assembly and doors and trim.">
  • Wood species knowledge and woodworking machine and process knowledge.">
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use measuring devices such as a tape measure.">
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.">
  • Ability to lift up to 7 lbs with assistance and stand/walk for extended periods on a concrete floor.">

Work Environment

">

This role is based in a shop warehouse building and may require overtime and occasional Saturdays to meet production demands. The salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
