Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced P2P professional to lead our EMEA operations, driving strategic direction and performance improvement. As Regional P2P Lead, you will be responsible for setting the technical direction for the P2P process area, delivering end-to-end purchase to pay services, and building a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Direction

  • Develop and execute an effective P2P strategy for the region, aligning with global policies and procedures.
  • Lead the P2P delivery team to ensure overall performance meets SLA, KPI, and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Manage the P2P service delivered by the BPO, ensuring performance is in line with targets.
  • Develop the roadmap and embed best practice into P2P Operations processes, controls, and systems.

Process Change

  • Drive change and continuous improvement in the business and within P2P, highlighting potential process or control improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure all process documents are up-to-date and readily available, and staff are aware of key processes and how they function.
  • Work closely with the business and Global Process Owners to identify changes to processes necessary through changing business requirements.

Vendor Management

  • Ensure the Group policies, controls, and contractual SLAs are being adhered to and followed.
  • Resolve escalated operational issues as specified by the governance model.
  • Meet with third-party vendors on a regular basis to review performance and agree actions required to resolve areas of under-performance or SLA breach.

Leadership

  • Ensure appropriate People Development tools are utilised throughout the team consistently and fairly to ensure optimum performance of all colleagues.
  • Ensure planning and prioritisation of work within the team is enough to maintain and improve performance metrics.
  • Encourage an environment in which people value diversity in recruitment, team formation, and developing plans and strategies.

Qualifications

  • Strong academic background.
  • Qualified Accountant – desirable, not essential.
  • Experience of managing and governing BPO delivery from a centralised and outsourced finance shared service function – desirable, not essential.
  • Must have several years' experience of managing a large complex P2P team across several sites.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of SSC processes and how these fit into the wider environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of working in a global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows.
