Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Social Worker to join our team in Walton, Surrey. As a key member of our Children with Disabilities Team, you will play a critical role in supporting vulnerable individuals and their families.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for managing complex caseloads, assessing risk, and promoting independence, while also providing leadership and guidance to colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead interventions to prevent deterioration in health and wellbeing, undertaking assessments and planning for safeguarding.
  • Mentor colleagues to develop their skills and knowledge, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Deliver formal professional reflective supervision, ensuring that colleagues receive the support they need to deliver high-quality services.
Requirements:

A social work qualification or equivalent is essential for this role. If you have a passion for working with children and families, and a commitment to delivering high-quality social work services, we would love to hear from you.

Salary:

£45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
