About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Asset Management Coordinator to join our team in Braintree, Essex.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage data from authorized trigger events and maintain accurate records of rent deposits.
  • Support the retrieval of information for the annual asset valuation program and provide data for finance and audit purposes.
  • Maintain the Asset Management page on the council's external and internal websites, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Process purchase orders, check invoices, and raise credit notes as necessary.
  • Deal with routine enquiries, including land ownership, and forward correspondence to relevant officers.
Requirements:
  • Excellent IT skills and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrable experience in using GIS systems and managing inventory.
  • Great communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • A flexible and proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
