About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Loss Prevention Officer to join our team at Next. As a key member of our Loss Prevention team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor CCTV, fire, and intruder alarm systems to prevent acts of theft and protect our stock, people, and vehicles.
  • Conduct searches of people and vehicles to deter theft and prevent loss of stock.
  • Deal with incidents in a calm and professional manner, completing detailed reports and statements as required.
  • Communicate security risks and incidents to your Loss Prevention Manager.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build great working relationships with visitors, management, and employees.
  • A can-do attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English, with a sound knowledge of Word, Excel, and Google suites.
  • A Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate and the ability to become First Aid trained as required.
