Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Catering Supervisor to join our team at Sodexo Live St James' Park, Newcastle United Football Club. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for ensuring seamless food service delivery during matchday and non-matchday events.
Key Responsibilities- Manage catering operations, including stock checks, inventory management, and cash handling.
- Lead a team of catering staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation.
- Collaborate with senior management and HR to address any incidents or issues.
- Adhere to company policies, including health and safety, food safety, and equality and diversity.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced event environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in high-stress situations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
