About the Role:

We require a reliable and thorough cleaner to work 30 hours a week. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of designated areas, including treatment rooms, reception areas, and other facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning of designated areas, including treatment rooms, reception areas, and other facilities
  • Maintaining full accurate cleaning records – daily, weekly, monthly, six monthly, and annually
  • Following Health & Safety, COSHH, and all relevant regulations
  • Understanding and implementing the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness 2007 and 2021 and the National Colour Coding Scheme
  • Working to Infection Control measures
  • Care of the cleaning equipment
  • Understanding and assurance of Personal Protective Equipment
  • Using and handling electrical equipment
  • Responsibility for lone worker policy and risk assessment
  • Waste management (not handling hazardous or sharp waste)
  • Carrying out any other reasonable management requests

Requirements:

  • Previous cleaning experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of COSHH regulations is desirable
  • High attention to detail
  • Reliable with excellent timekeeping
  • Ability to work independently
  • Requirement to achieve client vetting clearance for the role

Estimated Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 per annum depending on experience.
