Academic Support Specialist

We're seeking dedicated English and Maths tutors in Northampton and surrounding areas to provide high-impact, 1:1 tuition for children of all ages from Primary level to GCSE.
- Deliver educational sessions face-to-face with children at their homes or a public space (e.g., library, community centre).
- Develop tailored resources around each child's needs, enhancing their knowledge in core subjects like Maths, English, and Science.
- Hold QTS or be a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or possess SEN/ SEMH experience.
- Build strong relationships with children through engaging and effective communication.
You'll receive a competitive hourly rate of £27.50, paid weekly, as well as access to a national network of tuition opportunities, flexible face-to-face and online tuition options, and a bespoke online reporting platform for seamless attendance tracking, feedback, and assessments.
We offer our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training, and all candidates must undergo a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
