**Job Title:** Credit Controller

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our team at JSS Search. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our business, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Prepare and issue monthly financial statements to stakeholders.
  • Allocate funds received and request closings and slips from business partners.
  • Pursue debtors frequently to secure payment.
  • Identify and escalate non-operational cash (NOC) from aged debt.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to progress the collection process.
  • Chair regular meetings with business units to address any financial control issues and escalations.
  • Provide oversight to existing financial processes, challenging any redundant requirements as the business evolves.
  • Analyse and identify inconsistencies and record errors in financial records, liaise with the technical team to correct entries.
  • Resolution of unallocated cash, provide constructive feedback on issues which have resulted in misposting to unallocated cash.
  • Ad hoc duties as requested by management.

**Requirements:**

  • General Insurance, Credit Control background.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in the finance department.
  • Analytical problem-solving approach, ability to identify and analyse problems, creating and implementing solutions, decision-making skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and conversing with external clients.
  • Knowledge and experience with Sequel eclipse is a positive but not essential.
  • Proactive and a team player, time management skills and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask and meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
