About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Ongo Recruitment Ltd. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of maintenance related tasks to a high standard.

Job Summary:

  • Ensure the cleanliness, security and safety of our properties
  • Carry out cleaning activities to an agreed standard
  • Clean and maintain internal areas, including toilets, kitchens and bathrooms

Main Responsibilities:

  • Property and garden clearance
  • Removal of waste and associated materials
  • Strimming and cutting of gardens where required
  • Repairs to pipework, wastes, external paths and rainwater goods
  • Installation of items such as shower curtains and grab rails

Requirements:

  • Relevant trade qualifications or 5 years of experience in glazing
  • Good knowledge of health and safety practices
  • Ability to carry out dynamic risk assessments
  • Customer care orientated and dedicated to providing a high-quality service

About You

You will have excellent communication skills and be able to interact with people at all levels. A full driving licence is essential for this role. If you are a motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about delivering a high-quality service, we would love to hear from you.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £30,169 per annum, which is benchmarked against other employers. We offer a range of benefits, including enrolment on our Aviva pension scheme (9.5% employer contribution), 30 days holiday (plus extra days off for Bank Holidays/Birthdays), healthcare scheme and flexible/agile working.
