Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Professional

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Professional to join our team at Outcomes First Group in Scunthorpe. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Facilities Team to provide a high-quality facilities service, communicate with external contractors, and travel to site areas or suppliers to carry out role responsibilities.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will coordinate with the Facilities Team to ensure a seamless facilities service delivery. This includes liaising with external contractors on tasks beyond routine maintenance and reporting to the Facilities Manager and Registered Manager as required. Additionally, they will travel to site areas or suppliers to complete job-related tasks. The ideal candidate must respond promptly and flexibly to staff/service requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with the Facilities Team to deliver a high-quality facilities service.
  • Liaise with external contractors on non-routine maintenance tasks and report to the Facilities Manager and Registered Manager as necessary.
  • Travel to site areas or suppliers to complete job-related tasks.
  • Respond promptly and flexibly to staff/service requirements.
  • Support other members of the Facilities team to manage properties on site and handle tasks that require additional personnel.
  • Contribute to developing risk assessments and procedures for maintenance tasks in line with Company policies.
  • Participate in the on-call rota.
  • Provide a weekly account of all completed work.
  • Operate at all times in accordance with company policies and procedures, particularly regarding Safeguarding, Child Protection, and Health and Safety policies.
  • Inspect the exterior of buildings, report/repair defects as necessary.
