About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Theatre Practitioner to join our team at Nuffield Health Cheltenham Hospital.

As a Senior Theatre Practitioner, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety in the operating theatre. You will work closely with the Theatre Manager and Clinical Leaders to maintain comprehensive governance and training.

You will have excellent clinical skills and the drive to remain current in your knowledge, ensuring best practice is applied at all times. Ideally, you will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior clinical role.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work closely with the Theatre Manager and Clinical Leaders to ensure comprehensive governance and training are maintained.
  2. Demonstrate Nuffield behaviours framework and inspire colleagues to do the same.
  3. Ensure the patient perioperative journey is a positive one, with clinical safety being at the core of everything we do.
  4. Enjoy a varied caseload with state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and facilities.
  5. Interact well with colleagues on the ward, understanding that continuity in patient care is key.
