Electrical and Mechanical Engineer - Data Centre Maintenance
PRS is seeking an experienced Electrical and Mechanical Engineer to join their team as a Data Centre Facilities Maintenance Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and operating all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment and systems within the data centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating and maintaining all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment and systems under a rigorous change management system to maintain 100% uptime availability.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting all site/plant equipment support systems to include logging and responding to incidents/events, problems, changes, monitoring, problem escalation/notification/resolution and all other aspects of site support (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, generators, fire alarms and suppression etc).
- Utilising maximum capabilities of all operational systems including BMS, PMS, CMS.
- Managing sub-contracted resources, as necessary, to deliver a safe and quality service to the business.
- Management and coordination of all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) scheduled activity.
Requirements:
- Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, with either full Electrical or Mechanical qualifications.
- Proactive and methodical approach to work.
- Previous experience of carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to electrical single phase and three phase systems, control panels, air conditioning systems, motors, pumps, UPS, power generators, etc.
