Exciting Opportunity for Civils CAD Technician

We are seeking an experienced Civils CAD Technician to join our team at Mitie. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional results and contributing to our company's growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and produce detailed drawings using AutoCAD software and other relevant tools.
  • Develop and amend drawings in accordance with industry standards and procedures.
  • Provide technical support to on-site technicians and collaborate with stakeholders across various teams and projects.
  • Streamline and automate drawing and engineering processes, proposing improvement ideas to enhance efficiency.
  • Attend site surveys and participate in the development of civil engineering projects.
Requirements:
  • HNC/HND/BTec in Engineering (Civils) or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years' experience in AutoCAD/AutoCAD Civil 3D/MicroStation.
  • Proficient in 3D modeling software (Autodesk Revit preferable).
  • Good knowledge of civil engineering design principles and surveying techniques.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
