Job Title: Civils CAD Technician

We are seeking an experienced Civils CAD Technician to join our team at Mitie. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for creating detailed manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD software and other relevant platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and produce drawings in accordance with industry standards and procedures.
  • Develop and amend drawings to meet project requirements.
  • Provide technical support to on-site technicians.
  • Liaise with stakeholders across various teams and disciplines.
  • Streamline and automate drawing and engineering processes.
Requirements:
  • HNC/HND/BTec in Engineering (Civils).
  • Experience in reinforced concrete detailing.
  • Knowledge of surveying techniques and site survey data.
  • Experience with 3D scanner technology and cloud point manipulation.
  • Knowledge of HV/LV distribution systems and electrical building systems.
  • Experience in Security, Access Control, and CCTV & Alarm Systems.
  • Good knowledge of civil engineering design principles.
  • At least 5 years' experience in AutoCAD/AutoCAD Civil 3D/MicroStation.
  • Experience in 3D modelling software (Autodesk Revit).
