Exciting Opportunity for a Civils CAD Technician

Are you a skilled CAD professional looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience in civil engineering design principles and a strong understanding of AutoCAD software? We are seeking a talented Civils CAD Technician to join our team at Mitie, a leading provider of facilities management and professional services.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide variety of civils projects, using your knowledge of AutoCAD Software and other software platforms to produce detailed manufacturing drawings. As a Civils CAD Technician, you will be working as part of a close-knit team, taking concept designs through to detailed manufacturing drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, produce, develop and amend drawings in accordance with appropriate standards and procedures.
  • Draw and develop site layouts and GA drawings, steel structure drawings, block diagrams, single line diagrams, cable routing and wiring diagrams, assembly and part drawings and associated schedules.
  • Provide technical support to on-site technicians.
  • Revise drawings and red-line markups appropriately.
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with stakeholders, across various teams and discipline groups, across various projects.
Requirements

We are looking for a skilled CAD professional with a strong understanding of civil engineering design principles and a good knowledge of AutoCAD software. You will also need to have experience in 3D modelling software and be proficient in producing intelligent library blocks with attributes for data extraction.
