This SEN Teaching Assistant role presents an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and caring individual to make a lasting impact on students' lives.
Key Responsibilities- Safeguard and promote the welfare and safety of students with special educational needs, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Develop and implement tailored learning plans, collaborating with teaching staff and SEN coordinators to ensure students' academic and personal growth.
- Provide individualized support to students, addressing social, emotional, and mental health needs, and encouraging positive behavior and resilience.
- Maintain effective communication and teamwork with teachers, support staff, and other professionals to deliver holistic support to each student.
- Prior experience working with students who have SEN or behavioral needs is advantageous.
- A calming presence, empathy, and strong relationship-building skills are crucial for success in this role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
