Mental Health Practitioner for Children and Young People

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in Devon. As a key member of our Mental Health Support Team, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based early interventions for children and young people with mental health needs.
Main Responsibilities- Provide emotional and mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions to children and young people in the community.
- Work collaboratively with schools, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Contribute to the development of a whole-school approach to mental health and wellbeing.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to provide early help and support in community settings.
- Training in an evidence-based therapeutic approach.
- Experience of working with children and young people with mental health needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively with professionals across agencies in health, social care, and education.
- Knowledge of mental health presentations and evidence-based clinical interventions.
