Academic Lecturer in Construction Management

We are seeking an experienced Academic Lecturer in Construction Management to join our team at GBS Global Applied Knowledge. As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching and inspiring students in the principles and practices of construction project management.
Your role will involve developing comprehensive course materials, overseeing student projects, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements. You will also be expected to provide guidance and support to students, helping them to excel in the rapidly evolving construction industry.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in construction management, project management, or a related field, as well as previous lecturing experience. You will also have a firm commitment to personal and professional development, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality course materials and teaching sessions
- Oversee student projects and provide guidance and support
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements
- Contribute to the development of academic programs and courses
- Participate in staff development activities and peer observations
Requirements:
- Master's degree in construction management, project management, or a related field
- PhD or equivalent high-level professional experience in the related discipline
- Previous lecturing experience in construction management or a related field
- Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
