Senior Counsellor and Operational Lead

Cogwheel Counselling is a charity that provides affordable mental health counselling to adults, children, and young people in Cambridge and the surrounding area. We are seeking a Senior Counsellor and Operational Lead to support our current services and assist in the onboarding and management of new referrals.
This role will provide additional resource to support our Employee Counselling Service and other services/projects. The successful candidate will work closely with our Head of Services to manage referrals, provide administrative support, and contribute to the development of new services.
The ideal candidate will have experience in counselling and operational management, with excellent communication and organisational skills. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services to our clients.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing referrals and onboarding new clients
- Providing administrative support to the Head of Services
- Contributing to the development of new services and projects
- Working closely with the team to deliver high-quality services
