We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resuscitation Trainer to join our dynamic Resuscitation Team at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality resuscitation training to clinical staff across the Trust, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide safe and effective care to patients.
Main Duties- Develop and deliver resuscitation training programs for clinical staff, including simulation training and adult and pediatric resuscitation.
- Maintain systems to ensure resuscitation equipment is ready for use and coordinate the delivery of ILS, PILS, and AIMs courses across the Trust.
- Assist with the collection of cardiac arrest data and enter it onto the appropriate electronic database.
- Provide advice and support on resuscitation to clinical areas throughout the Trust and act as a member of the CAS Team and wider Directorate on Education, Research, and Innovation.
- Manage and prioritize your own workload, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and within agreed deadlines.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in resuscitation training and education, with experience of working in an acute care setting. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of staff and stakeholders. You will also have a strong understanding of current resuscitation guidelines and the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work using time management skills.
