At ATTB - The Big Jobsite, we are seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Specialist to join our team in Oxfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to get chartered with an ICE Training Scheme in a highly supportive environment.

Job Overview
  • We are looking for a talented engineer to conduct site appraisals and feasibility assessments.
  • The ideal candidate will prepare comprehensive pre-planning reports, including Flood Risk Assessments and Utility Assessments.
  • This role involves designing and managing drainage systems, including remedial works and SuDS.
  • The successful candidate will create detailed designs for tendering and construction phases.
  • This position requires developing and overseeing highway designs for local authorities and private developments (S38/S184/S278).
  • Serving as an Expert Witness is also a key responsibility.
  • The engineer will manage road, sewer, and SuDS adoption processes.
  • Providing technical support for planning applications and advising during pre-application stages is essential.
  • The Client's Representative will be responsible for managing contracts effectively.
  • Performing earthworks modeling to support project requirements is also a requirement of this role.
Requirements
  • A BSc or BEng qualification within a Civil Engineering discipline is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in Civil Engineering design consultancy is necessary.
  • Experience of Highways and Drainage Design is essential.
  • Knowledge of Road and Sewer / SuDS Adoption is also required.
  • A range of Civil engineering software skills are necessary.
  • Effective communication skills, including writing clear and concise emails, letters, and reports are required.
  • Commercial awareness is essential for this role.
