Senior Mental Health Support Worker

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Senior Community Support Worker to join our Specialist Community CAMHS team in South Hertfordshire. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting young people with complex mental health difficulties.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading on all referrals to the outreach team, creating clear formulations of work to be undertaken, and developing care plans in collaboration with CYP, family, and clinical support.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain effective relationships with the CAMHS Nurse Specialist, team clinical lead, and nominated care coordinators.
- Provide regular support and supervision to other support workers within the team.
- Contribute to the development of the team's practice and procedures.
- Good standard of education (to include Maths and English GCSE grade C or above or equivalent)
- Further Education or Diploma Training or NVQ in Health and Social Care
- Experience of working with children and young people with mental health conditions in either acute or community settings
The salary range for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
