We are looking for a highly skilled Mental Health Advisor to join our team at Tamaki Health. As a Mental Health Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our clinic populations.

This role involves working closely with our multi-cultural GP teams, health coaches, and community support workers to provide high-quality services to our communities. You will also work with clients and their whānau with at least 6 months experience in a team or clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement programs to improve mental health and wellbeing outcomes
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Conduct assessments and provide brief behavioural and psychological interventions
Requirements:
  • A post-graduate qualification in a relevant field
  • Registration with a registering body under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act (HPCA)
  • Experience working in evidence-based therapeutic models particularly brief psychological interventions

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and be committed to delivering high-quality services to our communities.

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per annum depending on experience
