About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Therapy Assistant Practitioner to join our team at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality therapy services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work independently to treat allocated clients, developing and implementing tailored therapy plans to meet their individual needs.
  • Collaborate with registered therapists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Conduct holistic functional assessments, defining individual goals and developing therapy programmes to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide physical support, advice, and training to clients, their carers, and relatives, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Develop and evaluate resources and ways of working, ensuring best practice and continuous improvement.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

Level 1 (Band 3) or Level 2 (Band 4) functional skills.Work-based competencies or ability to achieve work-based competencies required for the role.Foundation degree in Health and Social Care or equivalent with therapy experience.
