Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality therapy services to patients with neurological injuries. As a Therapy Assistant Practitioner, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based interventions and support patients in achieving their goals.
Main Responsibilities- Independently treat allocated clients referred to the service, working jointly with therapists or other assistants to provide interventions with clients who have more complex needs.
- Undertake holistic functional assessments with clients, defining individual goals and planning, initiating, modifying, and completing therapy programmes.
- Provide physical support, including positioning, moving, and handling, as well as functional activities such as support with personal care.
- Offer advice, motivation, and training to individuals, their carers, and relatives, promoting lifestyle changes to reduce the risk of complications and ill-health.
- Develop, modify, and evaluate resources and ways of working in line with outcome results, client satisfaction, and current research.

Person Specification- Level 1 (Band 3) or Level 2 (Band 4) functional skills
- Work-based competencies or ability to achieve work-based competencies required for the role
