Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Management:
  • Guide, mentor, and lead a team of fire and security technicians, offering support and constructive feedback on performance.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to ensure alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Oversee the distribution of workload among technicians to ensure efficient resource utilization.
  • Field Operations:
  • Manage the scheduling, execution, and completion of installation, maintenance, and repair tasks for fire alarm systems, security solutions, CCTV, and access control technologies.
  • Ensure that all field operations comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Perform routine site inspections to assess work quality, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Health & Safety:
  • Encourage a robust safety culture within the team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments, enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and promote safe working practices.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Act as the primary liaison for customers in the field, addressing inquiries and ensuring a high level of service satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Operational Efficiency:
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational objectives are met or surpassed.

  • Manage inventory and equipment, ensuring all tools and materials are readily available and in optimal condition.
  • Compliance & Reporting:
  • Ensure all operations adhere to relevant fire and security industry standards, regulations, and company policies.

  • Maintain accurate records of all field activities, including job completion reports, safety audits, and customer feedback.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or management capacity within the fire and security sector.
  • Strong technical expertise in fire alarm systems, security solutions, CCTV, and access control technologies.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on motivating and developing personnel.
  • Thorough understanding of industry standards, regulations, and health and safety practices.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, emphasizing customer service.

Education and Certifications:

  • A relevant technical qualification in fire and security systems.
