We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team at Meridian Business Support Limited. As a Clinical Lead, you will play a key part in developing and delivering our hospital strategy, providing operational and clinical leadership to the team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care is provided to all patients. You will work closely with the Hospital Director to support the running of the hospital and oversee the nursing team, with the support of a full multidisciplinary team (MDT) including a Ward Manager and Deputy Ward Manager.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical services operations, with experience in managing nursing and therapy teams. You will be responsible for reviewing staffing levels on a daily basis, ensuring compliance against staffing ladders and reviewing trends, under or over staffing and putting in place actions to remedy.
The Clinical Lead will also be responsible for deputising for the Hospital Director in their absence and will be a key member of the hospital Senior Management Team.
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and has excellent leadership and management skills. If you are a motivated and experienced Clinical Lead looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver the hospital strategy, providing operational and clinical leadership to the team.
- Deputise for the Hospital Director in their absence.
- Overall responsibility for all clinical departments' performance and governance.
- Manage the ward and resources effectively, taking steps to ensure that appropriate staffing levels and skill mix of nursing experience and skills is in place.
- Review staffing levels on a daily basis, ensuring compliance against staffing ladders and reviewing trends, under or over staffing and putting in place actions to remedy.
