Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Manor House, a leading care home in Kingstanding. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

About the Role:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a warm, friendly, and safe environment for residents and staff.
  • Develop and implement person-centred care plans, promoting independence and dignity for all residents.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals, including GPs and Support Managers, to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Contribute to the training and development of junior staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a care setting, preferably in a senior capacity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
