About Precision Machining
As a leading engineering group, our client specializes in designing, developing, and manufacturing precision-machined components for the Oil & Gas and renewable energy sectors.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Precision Machinist to join our team. This role will initially focus on manual machining, with opportunities to transition to CNC operations as the company expands its capabilities. You will be responsible for working with high-precision tools and equipment, ensuring accurate and efficient production of complex components.

About You
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in mechanical engineering or equivalent, ideally with time-served experience as a Precision Machinist. You will be highly process-driven and methodical, with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for engineering. A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies is essential.

Your Skills and Qualifications
  • HNC/HND or Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Ideally Time Served Precision Machinist.
  • Experience working in a high precision environment, working to microns with castings (not sheet-metal).
  • Highly process driven and methodical, with experience of continuous improvement and lean.
  • A genuine passion for engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Salary and Location
The salary for this position is between £32,000 - £38,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
