Lead Care Team Member

Care UK is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Lead Care Team Member. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for leading and supervising your shift, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise your shift, ensuring that all care tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Administer and record medication, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Work closely with care assistants to support residents with daily needs, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Contribute to the development of our care services, working closely with the leadership team.

About You:

  • NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to lead and supervise others, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of care planning processes and ability to implement effective care plans.
  • Experience in administering medication or willingness to undertake training.
  • Above all, a natural ability to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
