The Role

  1. Lead and supervise your shift, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
  2. Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  3. Administer and record medication, maintaining accurate records and adhering to protocols.
  4. Conduct risk assessments, identifying potential hazards and implementing measures to mitigate them.
  5. Work closely with care assistants to support residents with daily needs, promoting independence and well-being.
  6. Contribute to the development of services, working closely with the leadership team to drive improvement and innovation.

About You

  1. NVQ Level 3 in health and social care is desirable, but not essential.
  2. You should be well-organized, IT literate, and adept at allocating and delegating work effectively.
  3. Proven ability to lead and supervise others, with a strong understanding of care planning processes.
  4. Experience in administering medication is preferred, but training can be provided.
  5. Above all, you should have a natural ability to help make the lives of others more fulfilling.
